About CJ
Born into a minister’s home, I was raised in Tucson, Arizona. Music and ministry were just the way we lived. Mom and Dad were involved in the local church, but also ventured out to other cities and nations to reach the lost. They demonstrated the passion that I carry today.
I attended Christ For the Nations Institute in Dallas, where the Lord solidified my personal calling and future.
When I was 32, my resume included serving as a worship pastor, youth pastor and in associate positions. A dear friend asked me to bring my worship team to prison for the first time. That experience changed my life, and the focus of my future. Evangelism had always been at the forefront of my vision and dreams, but those dreams suddenly became a reality.

Dad, Mom, Laurie, and myself… 1975.
Today, I am blessed to visit many prisons in several states and to deliver a bold message of freedom in Christ in song and the Word!
I am crazy about my wife of 20 years, Laury, and my children. I have two daughters and a son. We live in the beautiful San Diego area.
