Positioning Yourself Next to the Reapers

The Book of Ruth is amazing. Ruth gives us an example on how to receive in the midst of lack. In chapter 2 verse 14, Boaz, the Kinsman Redeemer instructs her to come near to his field, eat of his bread, and dip her morsel in his vinegar. Boaz is a type and shadow of the Kinsman Redeemer (Jesus Christ) which was to come. So today, in this hard economy, with much lack all around us…we too ought to draw near to Christ, eat of His bread (the Word of God), and dip our lives in Him. And just like Ruth, in vs. 14b, she sat beside the reapers, or you can say that she positioned herself next to the reapers of the harvest…and as she did that, she became full and had much left over for others – now that’s walking in life abundantly. As you contemplate assisting CJ and 2nd Chance go where few do go to bring Good Tidings to the poor, realize that just like Ruth – you are positioning yourself next to the reapers of the harvest. And God will not be indebted to you for long…He will repay your kindness speedily. Luke chapter 5 reveals it so, as Simon the fisherman positioned himself and his business next to the work of the kingdom…in helping Christ do the kingdom business - Christ repaid him with a great catch(despite having toiled all night and being in lack). So expect that God will reward your labor of love with an abundant supply of what it is that you have need of.

A NEW SOUND IS HERE!
For the next few months, 2nd Chance has expanded to include 12 extra voices and the sound is HOT!
